Its really ironic that 88 is screaming about how no one heard about something [the incident with his mom] in a thread where everyone is bitching because no one is saying something else [about compensation]

Would you agree or disagree? We are not talking about whether or not this was a smart move by the Chiefs.....I am asking if you think he is the best CB in football.

What some of you guys are doing, is assuming the complete idiocy of our organization, most of us have come to the realization that if they were willing to take such drastic action... then what WE know about Peters is only the tip of the iceberg

Cut Veach and co some slack, give them a chance to replace Peters with a quality starter before declaring this to be the worst move in the history of football... thats all most of us are saying

You are asking me to give Veach a chance to replace one of the best CBs in the league on a rookie deal for a FA on a huge deal which will most likely end in a net loss on the field.

And all because Peters didn't sing in the church choir.

The trade compensation hasn't been confirmed dumbshit, it is a future/pending occurrence that has yet to be confirmed.

On the other hand the Marcus Peters fight with his mom that you are lying about is a supposed past event that took place months ago that should be easy to confirm since it already happened, correct?

Yet why can't anyone credible confirm that it happened except for your "friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend"?

This is what it comes down to. If Peters didn’t have all these issues and we traded him for almost anything, I’d be up in arms. Veach fleeced Washington a couple weeks ago which looks more amazing in hindsight given that we got Fuller back (rather than just picks), which gives us a viable replacement for Peters at corner (since clearly Veach knew Peters was gone) and perhaps as importantly might tilt the odds in our favor of signing his brother.

Veach is playing checkers instead of chess yet people think he’s just throwing Peters away for no reason.
