Lotta one year and we’ll see deals incoming
I can’t see Williams signing with the 9ers at this point this close to fa |

I honestly think we’re going to sign Reiff or trade for somebody like Dillard. Either way, I’m not too concerned because I have full confidence that they have a plan for LT. |
Why wouldn’t Williams wait until FA opens and gauge his market price?

Yeah, we'll see on Williams. Rumors are rumors. Will be fun to follow today. The 49ers are bringing the best deal they can to the table today, in all likelihood. They know this is the last chance, really. If he makes it to the open market he isn't making it back to them.

What’s that? A team is working to bring back the #1 LT on the market before free agency? Stop the presses! It’s already been reported that Williams wants to see what he can get in FA. So unless the 49ers are offering him a 5 year deal and $20 million plus a year....they aren’t signing him before Wednesday. |

If the 49ers offer him a competitive package but instead, he decides to test free agency, it's possible that the 49ers move on while other teams may not offer as much in guaranteed money, salary or contract length. |

The 49ers may also elect to let him go. He’s 33 and they can grab an OT in this draft at #13 if they want. Someone like Darrisaw or Slater. |
