Truebigdog and I were working on a trade, I sent one final note on a possible tweak and was waiting for his confirmation. Let me look at something. |

Ok, screw it.. I was countering, but I'll take this trade that Truebigdog and I were working.
MML receives his R21.6 and R33.13 for my R21.14 and my R28 (keep in mind that Cobras and I flipped picks in R28, so Scorpions now hold Cobras pick) MML will select... Jerious Norwood, KR/RB. I'm digging this pick, dual role player and will get more action at RB this year as well. Nice threat. Round 19 1. Fort Wayne Dancers - Michael Jenkins, WR 2. Team 3B selects Mark Clayton, WR, and Chinedum Ndukwe, SS.
Clayton won't need to shoulder the load for 3B like he will for the Ravens, but we should get to see what he's made of this year. "Ndukwe" is synonymous with "ridonkulous potential." Look it up, nerd. Round 19 1. Fort Wayne Dancers - Michael Jenkins, WR 2. Philadelphia Battery Tossers - Chris Houston, DB 3. Honolulu Hulas - Quinten Mikell, FS 4. It may seem crazy to make the trade primarily for a KR, but the guy is a nice one to have for RB depth as well... great production last year behind Turner and word is that they are giving him a few more carries this year to keep Turner from wearing down.
If you can get a KR that also is key at another position, that is huge... there's only a few and not many at all are left... so that is why I made the move and gave up more than I cared to give by moving from R28 to R33. I saw my target and made the move... plus, now with Hillis at FB and Norwood at KR, I have two young and versatile options should something happen to Jacobs or Smith. <st1:city w:st="on"><st1>Memphis</st1></st1:city> Malt Liquor (26)<o></o> QB Matt Schaub, QB (28) Trent Edwards, QB<o></o> (25) WR/TE Anquan Boldin, WR<o></o> (28) TJ Houshmandzadeh, WR<o></o> (31) Roy Williams, WR<o></o> (27) Greg Olsen, TE<o></o> (24) RB Peyton Hillis, FB<o></o> (23) Brandon Jacobs, RB<o></o> (27) Kevin Smith, RB<o></o> (22) *(also includes Norwood, listed primarily as the KR) OL Marcus McNeil, LT<o></o> (25) <st1><st1>Robert</st1> <st1>Gallery</st1></st1>, LG<o></o> (28) Olin Kreutz, C<o></o> (32) Chris Kuper, RG (26) ST Mason Crosby, K (24) Jerious Norwood*, KR/RB (25) <o></o> Offense/ST Avg Age = 26.3 years DL Julius Peppers, DE/OLB<o></o> (29) Ray Edwards, LDE (24) Kevin Williams, DT<o></o><o></o> (28) Darryl Tapp, RDE (24) LB Kirk Morrison, ILB<o></o> (27) Zach Diles, OLB/SLB (24) Curtis Lofton, MLB<o></o> (23) DB Richard Marshall, CB<o></o> (24) Charles Tillman, CB<o></o> (28) Gibril Wilson, S<o></o> (27) Roman Harper, S (26) Defense Avg Age = 25.8 years I like the fact that out of 26 players, I only have 3 over the age of 29... great average ages for both OFF and DEF especially since I have no rookie picks. |
I like Norwood a lot, for what it's worth.
Team 3B Receiving corps Larry Fitzgerald - 25, 6'3", 1,431 yds 12 TDs Vincent Jackson - 26, 6'5", 1,098 yds 7 TDs Mark Clayton - 27, 5'10", 695 yds 3 TDs The secondary of Finnegan (25), McGee (28), Collins (25), and Ndukwe (24) is also stupid young and promising, with two 2008 All-Pros. |

I like your WRs... MML Receiving Corps Anquan Boldin - 28, 6'1 / 89 - 1038 yds - 11 TD TJ Houshmandzedah - 31, 6'2 / 92 - 904 yds - 4 TDs Roy Williams - 27, 6'3 / 36 - 430 - 2 TJ and Roy both had down years, esp TJ on the yds and TD... Roy is no longer playing 2nd to TO, so we'll see what he can do as the #1 in Dallas. As a #1 in DET, he was hit and miss... I think he has great upside as the #1 in Dallas. TJ is also the man now in SEA.... should have a fine season. If these 3 do what they can do... I'll take this trio against most. TJ is 31, but he still has a strong 3 years in him. |
Apologies MHM, I just got logged on. I had a bunch of crap to do outside and wanted to get to part of it before it got hot.
Love the Norwood pick though |

Okay, I've got the picks in the original post up through Round 20.

I was hoping Clayton would last a couple more picks. Damn.
