Fair enough. Just caught me off guard that you cited KU's Pomeroy rating the other day - but didn't like me citing KU's Sagarin rating.

I don't think he even has short T-Rex arms. Iowa's Adam Woodbury averages 0.2 blocks a game, is 7'1'' tall but has a 6'7'' wingspan so it makes sense. It appears on my google look up people on the Duke board were saying Lucas had a 7 ft wingspan. If that is true it is even more mind boggling that he cannot block shots.

Udoka Azubuike is going to announce on ESPN U at 530 CST between KU, UNC, and FSU. 6'11'' 260 lbs Center, 27th player Rivals. He is expected, at least more than likely, to pick KU. He apparently hasn't watched any KU games this year, luckily for us.

I don't know that it's firm he's going to KU at this point, but lots of smoke pointing that way. An AAU coach even indicated on twitter he's going to pick KU. As an African product, probably has alot to do with Joel Embiid.

Still not thaat confident, He's delayed his announcements like 5 times already. But sounds like tonight is the night.

Is he 260 because he's fat or because he's strong?

KU Bigs

Perry Ellis - Great Offensive Player, weak/soft Defensive Player, below average rebounder
Hunter Mickelson - Good energy, good shot blocker, decent Offensive/Defensive Player - fouls too much
Carlton Bragg - Very good offensive player, lost on defense, OK rebounder, OK shot blocker
Landon Lucas - Pathetic Offensive player, average defensive player, Pathetic shot blocker, Very good rebounder
Jamari Traylor - Turnover machines, below average offensive, below average defensive player, high energy, Brain Dead
Cheick Diallo - Average offensive player, very good shot blocker, high energy, Doesnt understand the playbook and is never in the right position

Bottom line....Worse set of big men Self has ever had.....at least at this point in time.

Udoka Azubuike has a 7'5'' wingspan. 6'11.5'' in shoes at Nike Skills Camp 2015.

To compare..
Cliff Alexander 6'8.5'' in shoes. 7'3.5'' wingspan.
Cheick Diallo 6'9'' in shoes. 7'4'' wingspan.
Joel Embiid 7'0'' in shoes. 7'5'' wingspan.

3 of those guys will play in the NBA too. If Hunter would have transferred to a different team he might have played in the NBA as well.

It's official, Udoka Azubuike to Kansas. #27 in Rivals, #22 in ESPN Top 100.
