ChiefsPlanet - Chiefs Alex Smith did, does, and will always suck.

Why would the mods kill this thread? Everybody loves to watch a good train wreck. This thread is sports forum ambulance carnage rubber-necking at it's best. You don't really want to see the horror, yet you don't turn away.

It makes sense they knew he was having issues with the finger.

They were mixing in a LOT of Kaepernick substitutions as a way to get around having Smith throw as much.

And they didn't look very prepared to do them. The plays pretty much all failed. But even if they didn't have the practice reps with them they had to try it cause Smith was not 100%.

He still made BAD decisions with the football, though and it had nothing to do with his finger. Didn't Gabbert play with a bum finger on Sunday? Does that excuse his pathetic performance?

Gabbert has shown himself to be not good either way. The finger issue is a possible reason he wasn't even up to his usual bad play.
