The good thing about it coming in March is by then we will already be negotiating with FAs. Going to be a ton of news to cycle through.

I get it. Peters can make plays. But it's not like he is the only one in the NFL. If our overall team defense is better... and it has been pretty poor the past two seasons... who cares?

The only thing our defence has been good at the last few years was creating turnovers, and we just lost by far the best player in the league at doing that. Our overall defence got worse by a considerable margin regardless of who replaces Peters.

Yeah, Allbright is most likely full of shit, but anybody reading that tweet as a positive for the Chiefs is crazy. Rams got such a good deal they don't want other teams to see it and realize "oh damn, THATS all it will take??!?" and try to outbid them. At least according to the tweet.

After what Josh McDaniels did to Indy, nothing is sacred.

I respect LA for doing this, and I believe that KC must be getting a good deal if they agree to that term.

Blind faith? What has he done yet that should throw up a red flag?

Nick Korte made you look like a butt ****ing moron. You genuinely believed that you knew more about comp picks than someone who does it for a living. Idiot.

I’m not crazy I just don’t want to be an insufferable dick on here because of not knowing the compensation

What I don't understand is why Bill Maas, if he knows the compensation, doesn't report it. He's not an NFL employee nor is he a Chiefs employee. He works in Real Estate.

As for the other guy, I'm sorry, I don't trust some dope from Denver to know the details of the Chiefs-Rams trade.

I just don't buy it.

I don't think it's a good idea for the Chiefs to renege on a deal. They don't want to be known as a bad trade partner. Mutual trust is a big reason we pulled off 2 pre March 14th deals. I doubt they're trying to play up other offers.

Quesadilla Joe 02-24-2018 07:20 PM

Benjamin Allbright is a joke though. I have never posted a tweet from him.

LMAO Bro, you ran from Dane like a kicked dog. One of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen from a CP poster.

The Chiefs simply could have asked him not to say it, and as a former player and someone that wants to stay good with the club, decided to comply?

Josh McDaniels likely burnt every bridge in the process after doing that because he was likely told he's next in line for the Belichick's job just before exiting the building.

I can't imagine any one would conduct future business with a team making a similar decision in trade negotiations.
