Man is not governed by angels and Wolfe didn't handle this mess as well as he could've, but he got absolutely railroaded and good for him for finally coming back at the University and the cowards who threw him under the bus.

Amen. I'm glad to read that. The University seems like they've dug a pretty deep hole for themselves.

So they let people who had NO business being on the campus of Missouri run their business? It was probably that ****wad DeRay.

HonestChieffan 01-27-2016 06:54 PM

MU is ****ing over students left and right. Sad damn deal. Watch research money dry up. Cash will run to safe havens.

Maty Montana dismissed from the team today...about time...

DJ's left nut 01-28-2016 01:41 PM

I hope they found something new, otherwise this is just more reactionary bullshit from a team that you would think has learned its lesson by now.

If that's a 2 year old video and he's actually cleaned himself up, I think the team owed him a better hand here. They knew about his coke problem and if they're ditching him because an old video surfaced, then it's a PR move and nothing more. It also means that the "Mizzoumade" thing - molding players into productive young men - is largely bullshit.

Either they should've shitcanned him once the coke problem initially came to light (defensible), or they should've stood by him here once evidence surfaced publicly about a problem they already knew about.

This, OTOH, is just more capitulating to the mob.

Odom said that he hasn't been holding up his end of the bargain lately.

I liked Mauk's handwritten letter. He takes responsibility. The former university pres could learn a lesson from him.

Odom managed to flip Brendan Scales, a TE from Lafayette in St. Louis, who was an Alabama commit. Consider that we couldn't do that last year w/ Hentges.

They have made some nice additions to this class in the last few days.

Saw that on tRant. That's pretty impressive, especially considering the shit show that's going on at Mizzou right now.

Congrats.

Hogs NSD is shaping up to be a bust, I'm afraid. We really went hard for some top players, but we're going to lose out in the end, unfortunately.

Had some help from Saban, who tried to get Scales to greyshirt. But still a nice flip.

I like the Mason kid they from GA. Very fast and looks like a sleeper at CB (which he didn't play until this year... Saw an opposing fan talking about how he shut down a big-time WR recruit in his district whose name escapes me, in single man coverage. The WR is being fought for by UGA/Bama, I believe.

Sully 02-03-2016 09:01 AM

Jacobs chose Bama.
