As for the other guy, I'm sorry, I don't trust some dope from Denver to know the details of the Chiefs-Rams trade.

I just don't buy it.

I don’t know man. I’m just trying to make sense of all this shit. Doesn’t it seem fishy that we don’t know what kc got back? Am I just reading too much into this? I know the talk about KC keeping it quiet by being warned but I don’t buy that. KC hasn’t confirmed the Smith deal but we know the leaked details.

As for Maas, he still has ties to the team. I’m sure he hears things. I’m sure he was just told to not give it away.

Like I said, this is bizarre.

I’m assuming Maas doesn’t know based on the 610 interview. Sounded like he was only told that they expect people to be very pleased.

Then what's the point of even pretending like he knows the compensation?

It just comes across like a "Look at me" statement.

My guess is we got a 3rd this year. That’s why they don’t want anyone to offer a better deal.

The Chiefs, Redskins and Rams are not allowed, by NFL rules, to announce the terms of a trade. Any team doing so would get a monetary fine and loss of draft picks.

Is that really worth it, after making a deal? Nope.

There is literally no one at One Arrowhead Drive that has any association with Bill Maas.

"Oh, I know what it is, I just can't tell you!".

Again, I don't buy it.

If so, they need to give us at least another 2019 2nd or 3rd. Otherwise, to hell with protecting them from getting leapfrogged by a better deal.

My best guess is a 3rd and 5th this year with a 2019 3rd rounder as well.

Basically that.

I'm not saying I believe Maas either. He's so drunk and concussed that he could have read 7th as 1th and laugh because they wrote th instead of st.

I don’t think anyone in this thread is giving Veach blind faith. Benefit of a reeruned doubt? Yes. If they traded Tyreek out of the blue, it would be the most insane thing ever. Trading Peters out of the semi-blue given his history is disappointing but not wholly unreasonable if some of the behind-the-scenes issues are valid. Everyone is skeptical and disappointed here.

Not even sure how he would know. A former player from 26 years ago knows the details and yet someone in the chain hasn't leaked it already? I dont buy it.

Well, Maas never said he knows the actual compensation. He only said that he was told that people would be very pleased.
