As for Maas, he still has ties to the team. I’m sure he hears things. I’m sure he was just told to not give it away.

The Chiefs, Redskins and Rams are not allowed, by NFL rules, to announce the terms of a trade. Any team doing so would get a monetary fine and loss of draft picks.

I don’t think anyone in this thread is giving Veach blind faith. Benefit of a reeruned doubt? Yes. If they traded Tyreek out of the blue, it would be the most insane thing ever. Trading Peters out of the semi-blue given his history is disappointing but not wholly unreasonable if some of the behind-the-scenes issues are valid. Everyone is skeptical and disappointed here.
