Wrong. In EVERYBODY'S EYES.

Every single article you read says "there's no CONSENSUS". Consensus implies more than one, not just the Chiefs.

I've absolutely acknowledged the possibility of this happening. Just because it might happen doesn't mean it isn't utterly stupid if it does. Because it is.

Many fans on Reddit/Arrowheadpride/Whatever that SI page is for the Chiefs seem to be on board with the possibility of trading down.

Thinking it is stupid, is also an objective opinion. And since you are biased in favor or Geno, you're is even more so.

If one of the quarterbacks doesn't have number one value, then there is no possibility of trading down.

Nick Jacobs‏@Jacobs71

Mayock feels Matt Barkley, Ryan Nassib, Landry Jones & Tyler Wilson fit Andy Reid's West Coast system.

Who says it even has to be a trade for a QB? Maybe the Eagles get worried the Raiders will take Joeckel.

Lots of teams traded up for positions other than QB last year (the first year with new structure in place for the CBA)

BossChief 02-18-2013 02:08 PM

Jacksonville traded to 5 for a wideout.
Cleveland traded to 3 for a running back
Dallas traded to 6 for a cb

None of those are #1.

The only position a team would trade up for this year would potentially be LT, and with reports now coming out that Joeckel and Fisher are equal, that knocks that down alot.

Don't be stubborn. If a team will trade to 3 for a RUNNING BACK (a position of low importance), they will trade to 1 for a left tackle or pass rusher.

They were willing to trade for a RB that many people think could be AP reincarnated.

They didn't trade up for just any old RB.

Do you see any guys in this draft that are, at their position, what Richardson was at his?

O.city 02-18-2013 02:19 PM

Why trade to 1, when you could trade to 3 or 4 and take a LT of equal skill who might eventually be better?

There's also the Jaguars moving up for need with Blackmon...the Cowboys with Claiborne. Those are the furthest from generational talents as it gets.

There isn't the financial problem with moving around anymore.

Every pick from 2-7 was made by a team other than the team that originally held the pick. Only one of those picks (rg3) was a QB.

Blackmon and Claiborne are better prospects than just about every player in this draft.

Blackmon was such a huge risk (that was taken to try and help Gabbert not bust) that the team refused to guarantee his deal and he was the last pick signed because of such.

Guys like him are in every draft.

Just wait...some WR will rise up with the measurables this weekend.

BossChief 02-18-2013 02:43 PM

Claiborne can barely read and had like a 6 on the wonderlic. Milliner is a better overall prospect and I don't think it's close.
