ChiefsPlanet - Money Bitcoin Take?

I don't pay attention to crypto at all. What's the reaction to the fact that the US government was able to seize the bitcoin that was used to pay the pipeline ransom? I thought one of the big selling points of crypto was that a government couldn't do that.

Noteworthy but certainly not the first time it's happened.

I don't recall this was ever a selling point. With all due respect. Crypto as a "dark net" type of thing is bogus because of it though.

Curious how they got to it though.

The government seized the cloud server it was stored on. I would imagine if you had the wallet passphrase you could still transfer the BTC out.
