If they wait to announce until March seems like it would rule out a player. Rams aren't going to let the roster sit in suspense and worry about if they were in the deal. Rams also would not tell player they are gone and expect them to pretend they don't know.

No credible source suggests the Rams gave up a 1st round pick and they dont have a 2018 2nd round pick. They could send a 2019 2nd round pick but its valuated a round lower since it comes a year later. So, from all the rumors the best pick the Chiefs are looking at is a 2018 3rd for a defensive rookie of the year, 2-time probowler at age 25 with 2 years on his rookie deal left with the option for 2 franchise tag years. Now sit down and shut your ****ing mouth.
