Are we going to pretend that means Cinci wins the game?? It was the 1st quarter for goodness sake. They could have thrown a pick 6 on the very next play. So if they go with the bye or HFA scenario, would that only apply if all three teams win this weekend?

1. Let’s say Buffalo wins, KC and Cincinnati lose. Buffalo is the one seed and KC is the two. Do we still do bye/HFA?

2. What if KC and Cincinnati win and Buffalo loses?

3. What if all three lose?

4. What if Buffalo and Cincinnati win and KC loses?

Not sure if I missed a possible combo there.

There was at least a 50-55% chance of a Buffalo loss IMHO. This does not qualify Buffalo to have home field advantage on KC. The other 85% of the game should have been played in the last 2-3 days. Both Buffalo & Cincy have now gained a sort of bye week compared to everyone else in the league by only playing 15% of that game.

KC should automatically get the choice since they have to have play 1 more game than the other 2

Exactly. Plus no guarantee Burrow doesn’t get hurt which would impact that game as well. Predicting a winner midway through Q1 is silly. Look at Minn/Indy or Buffalo/Minn.

Because Cinci didn’t lose ground due to the no-contest.

They went into the week as the 3rd seed and are still the 3rd seed. Buffalo went into the week as the 1 seed and are now the 2 seed due to the no-contest.

I think that would be their logic.

So your argument against fact… Cincy leading in the game before Buffalo quit… is to offer hypotheticals about what could have happened?

For the money involved...this solution is taking too long.

I get it not having a plan Monday, Tuesday....but Wednesday you should be prepping to deliver a solution by EOD or Thursday.
