Don't get down, there's no way we give Cassel $36M guaranteed.

I thought it had said he didn't sign the offer yet.

NFLN is still scrolling that info. Maybe that contract wasn't supposed to get out until after they traded

How much in guarantees are you guys thinking he should get? He already has 1 year, 14.5 mill guaranteed. It is going to take quite a bit to secure him for five more years.

And yet you damn near jerk Sanchez's penis off. And he played only one year in college, NO NFL EXPERIENCE AT ALL!

Pioli was named Exec of the Year from national media in 2001, 2003, 2004 & 2007 seasons. Now, you don't think for one minute Pioli would come to KC and bring a quarterback bust with him, did you.

Quote:

Pioli
In 1997, while serving as head coach of the Jets, Belichick hired Pioli as the director of pro personnel. He was credited with the signing of a number of veteran free agents who played critical roles in the Jets' rebuilding process. In just two seasons, the Jets completed a worst-to-first turnaround, rebounding from 1-15 in 1996 to 12-4 in 1998. The 12 wins were the most in franchise history and gave the Jets their first division title since 1968.
I'm quite the critic when it comes to national sports journalists. In fact, in this town, sports writers ought to impart on information and show just how significant Scott Pioli is. KC Star is seriously missing out on the historical background of Pioli's career. There's a wealth of information with all the endings written ===========oh chit... Nascar.... of the drivers crashed & just went airborne.... be back

I would bet he gets somewhere in the realm of $26M in guarantees rather than $36M.

Cassel better be top 5 year in and out and lead this team to multiple superbowls, otherwise he is no better than a college QB with NO NFL EXPERIENCE AT ALL!

That's a little reeruned.

I'll be good if he's simply better than Sanchez.

Let's be realistic here. Multiple Super Bowls? How many QB's in history have done that?

Come on man. Snap out of it.
