I agree with that.

Until Twittergate, we all had no idea what Charles was fully capable of as a premier back.

This here.

In 2008 Charles had one good game, a 106-yard effort against Tampa Bay. Up to and including the November 8th game against Jacksonville, his numbers again were nothing to behold. Sure, he also wasn't a featured back... but the point is, no one thought he was the second coming of Marshall Faulk until he blew everyone away with this final four game stretch (143, 154, 102, 259).

So why are people acting like, "Look, once again, Pioli proves he's an incompetent idiot because he wanted to trade this stud!!"? Give it a frigging rest. You got one of the more promising GM candidates available. You got a head coach who lacks experience but has the right attitude. You got an improvement at QB--sure, maybe he's not Peyton Manning, but he's an improvement. You found a stud running back. You won 4 games instead of 2. You ended the Broncos' playoff chances. And yet you still find something to bitch about. Wash the sand out of your vagina and at least enjoy FOR ONE F**KING DAY the good game that they played yesterday.

All of this. I'm getting ready to call out all of the asshole MF'ers here who still show up to bitch like the **** rags that they are AFTER we beat Denver in Denver for the first time in almost 10 ****ing years. It's ****ing pathetic at this point.

Find another team or shut the mother **** up. Bitches.

Scott Pioli should wake up with a ****ing pink slip in his office.

Jesus, this dumb **** wouldn't know talent if it was raping his mom in the ass while strangling his first born child.

Shocker. Everyone is falling in line...

Yup. Without a shred of proof this story is posted up and every Chief hater here falls in line believing it.

****ing morons.

Charles will give us 3 good years and, like 90% of all NFL RB's, will be relegated to the broken down scrap heap.

Who gives a **** if they tried to trade him?

this

and I'd like everyone who said "Charles is the next Chris Johnson" before the season started to raise their hands....

line up next to all the people who said Pollard was a great safety and we need to keep him.....

SenselessChiefsFan 01-04-2010 07:21 AM

Let's be clear, IF this happened, it falls on Haley's head, NOT Pioli's. Same as the cutting of Pollard.

These guys are evaluated by the coaching staff, and the coaches decide if a guy is expendable. The GM just gets as much as he can get for a guy.

Acquiring players is different than deciding who stays from the current team. Especially, when you have no issues with the cap.

How many sources do you need regarding the entire roster being on the block?

That is hardly the same thing as what this article is claiming, but you know that.

Again, "everyone is on the block" is far from "Charles is being offered for a 5th."

One is a general statement to put the team on notice, the other is a specific transaction.

ooops otwp here's another reply to you.

this ... where is the proof that the Chiefs really did try and trade Charles.

it's funny ... because if this article said something positive like "pioli trade to trade for *insert uber player here* then some people would ask for 5 links of proof with something written in blood. But since it's another thing to bitch about they accept it easily and go off on another rant.

this is WPI ... seriously people are believing this shit.

wild1 01-04-2010 08:38 AM

Another "We knew all along, but we couldn't tell you" from WIPE?

Even funnier are the stupid MF'ers who believed it without questioning it because they want to hate Pioli and Haley so badly.

WhitiE 01-04-2010 08:42 AM

umm.... who cares?

it's true

certain people are just drooling to believe any bad shit about Pioli they can. Normally people laugh WPI shit off immediately but since this information says what they want it to say, they go off.

teedubya 01-04-2010 08:46 AM

I certainly believe this... Charles was butter fingers early in the year... he wasn't dressing for the games... barely saw the field. I don't how this is a stretch to some people's imaginations.
