I love how Donkey fans can argue that McCluster isn't big enough to play slot receiver while at the same time arguing about how great their #1 receiver is without mentioning that only 10 pounds seperate the two.

Before this injury, I saw Denver as a 7-9 or 8-8 team. Now, they'll be lucky win 4 this yr.

Denver is not a 4 win team. You are underestimating players like Brandon Lloyd, Eddie Royal, Jabar Gaffney, and Brandon Stokely. Denver has plenty of solid WR's and I will not be surprised if Orton throws for over 4,000 yards this season.

ROFL Comedy gold!

Uhh, if Orton throwsfor that much means your team sucks..

Your team is worse this year then last, especially with the injuries and loss of players.. add the fact you finished 2-8 after the miracle 6-0 start.. What the **** are you smoking..

The league more then likely will look like this

9-7
8-8
6-10
5-11

Guess what, there is a really good chance your team will be one of the last two spots.. The whole division looks comparable and weak..

Then a toss-up between us and Denver as to who clicks as a team more as the season progresses. Denver having the injury bug hit early doesn't make them look real promising right now. I would just guess SD, Oak, KC, Denver. I don't even feel at all comfortable with that order, because I am thinking something surprising happens with one of the bottom three, but not nearly enough to get past Rivers and Co.

SD is not a great team, they have not been for years.. They are just a good team in a crap division.. This year I think they have fallen back and a few teams have gotten better(Oak, KC) and Den has gotten worse..

It should be a ugly fight for division lead imo..

The reality is that KC has been one of the worst teams in the NFL for the last few years. Although you may think KC has talent at certain positions the record book shows otherwise. The sustained losing effort that has been the Chiefs give you grounds to say nothing. When your team has been as bad as it has for as long as it has you can't claim anything.
Let KC prove it has an offense, prove it has a WR corp, prove it has a defense by winning and THEN start talking.

When have the Donks been to the playoffs??

Denver has shown as much as the Chiefs the past few years, a lot of nothing.. Must be proud of all of those 8-8 seasons.. Hell at least KC is trying to build from the ground up.. You all had franchise players on your team and jettisoned them..

You guys no longer have an offense, you no longer the WR, and prove your defense will be able to survive without your best player until Dec..

Denver has legit talent at one position on offense, and that is LT. He's hurt.

JoeyChuckles 08-05-2010 10:24 PM

Looks like this may just spell Dumervil for the Broncos.

Cmon, it had to be said.
