I haven't, but I've been hearing great things about it. Thank you.

Uh, yeah.

Some people will buy whatever hype is forced down their throat.

"OMG the commentators were saying how this was the greatest game ever played and it was an instant classic...so it just has to be the best football game I've ever seen...even if it was played by two meh teams".

I'm not saying it wasn't entertaining. But in a "who is going to find a way to lose this game" kind of way.

I'd much prefer to watch two very good teams that are playing well in a competitive game.

This. Teams making plays back and forth is excellent. Two teams ****ing up and keeping it close is good, but far from great.

That was the WORST football game I've ever seen.

Not great, but highly entertaining.

Is there anything better than doing that to Notre Lame?

It's usually the terrible games (in terms of teams...) that are the most entertaining.

Really? Awesome prediction.

Well they should never have been ranked in the first place. And that is the absolute truth.

I'd be pretty happy watching that happen to Florida, Texas, and Nebraska.

Maybe if they showed 15 games a year on NBC I'd hate them as much.

Although it's close with Nebraska.

Funny thing is, I was talking to a friend today about how people root for conferences, and I just don't get it. See it with SEC fans and a good many Big 12 fans locally. But I don't give a flying **** if the Big 10 is any good or not. I only root for Michigan. Iowa losing today? Shrug. Ohio State blowing that game to Toledo would've made my year.

That's basically how it is for me. I don't root for the rest of the conference. I don't take any pride in another Big 10 team doing anything. Most of the schools get apathy at the best (Iowa, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue), but some of them I wouldn't piss on if they were burning (Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State, and now Nebraska). I hated seeing Ohio State winning a championship.

On an unrelated note, I got a bad feeling about the game tomorrow. Good things don't usually happen for me twice in a weekend.

I'm the same way. I root for Mizzou. I play nice, because I don't want to be a dick, or a troll. But really, all I give a shit about is my team. I root against all the rest of them. And if it's a conference game, I root for the team lower in the standings... to improve Mizzou's position.

Same thing goes for the NFL and the AFC West.

Wouldn't you feel more pride in Michigan if they were the best in an elite conference? I would. That's why I hope Penn State beats Alabama and so on.
