Prove it to me. How many LTs have been drafted in the last 10 years and successfully moved to OG?

Well 2014 has Jake Matthews who I actually believe is better than Joeckel. Plus Taylor Lewan from Michigan.

So It's not like Joeckel is some once in a generation LT. He's a normal ass 1st round LT prospect. Nothing special or anything that makes him unique.

Nope. I want Wilson. He's my guy. But multiple QB's have the tools in this class.

Combined numbers for QB starts under Andy Reid NOT named Donovan McNabb:

38-44 record (.463)
55% completion percentage
112 TD's
94 INT's
70 QBR.


And before we go all off on Reid being a QB guru, the numbers don't necessarily say thats the case.

I think Kalil and Okung were far superior prospects...

I'm not sure we can really judge his drafted QB's accurately. Kolb and Foles started one year in Philly.

Kolb looked good in Philly. Who knows how he would have looked had he stayed.

Kolb was ok. I think Foles has alot more upside than Kolb, but Kolb wasn't really very good in Philly.

It really shows how stupid Arizona was to make that trade.

If anything, it shows that Reid can get average/slightly above average out of shit QB's. When he has a talented guy, sky's the limit.


Which, IMO, is the most exciting thing.

I would rather keep Albert at LT so we can take a QB and CB/S/WR/LB with our first 2 picks. In your scenario we come out with two positions filled with potential. Mine it's 3. If you argue that in scenario 1 you move Albert to guard thus making it 3 positions you have helped, it still doesn't measure up. You can find a guard later in drafts. You don't need your first overall pick be an attempt to improve a guard spot.

Any way you slice it letting Albert go or moved to guard and taking a LT at 1.1 is not going to be full value. That's the irony of all this talk about Joeckel being the value pick. Picking a guy to fill a position you have a guy to fill isn't value. Adding skill at the guard position with an Albert move doesn't equal the value of what we can get in the 2nd round with CB ect.

I haven't read a single post in this thread, but just reading the title, this is the dumbest ****ing idea of all the draft ideas I've heard for the Chiefs. And it's coming from our GM?

I'm surprised people are actually taking his pre draft statements seriously. He's not going to let on to what direction he and the chiefs are going until we actually make the pick.
