You're missing the point where it actually worked.

The Chiefs haven't won a playoff game in 20 years. Before their first playoff appearance in 1986, they hadn't been in the playoffs in 15 years.

This franchise is shit covered in shit. It always has been and it always will be, until they prove otherwise.

Which is why I cannot understand the faux outrage.

Norv's weird. I don't know how that guy keeps getting hired in the NFL, especially when guys like Buddy Ryan and Marty and Sam Wyche or even Al Saunders, can't. His only true success was with Dallas during the Glory Years and since then, he's been living off of his reputation.

Hey, more power to him but I just don't get it.

Totally agree on Martz and Norv.

Norv is the antithesis of clutch when playcalling for a team when he's the HC.

The NFL is full of dumb ****s, this isn't obvious to you?

An entire wing of Foxboro's coaching office got hired to jobs they never deserved.

Well, now that would be a REAL honor.

Amirite?

But god dammit, I love the way that ****er draws up screens.

Seriously, every team should steal their screen philosophies/designs from Norv.

Sure.

It's why I can't get too worked up about people who are saying "**** it, I'm out". A fair weather fan would ahve likely left a long time ago.

And the Chiefs have sucked for four decades.

Why this move is causing "outrage" is at once frightening and hilarious.

It's as if people believe they're rooting for the Broncos or Ravens or Patriots or NY Giants.

In reality, they're hoping their team isn't embarrassed on Thanksgiving Day before even eating breakfast.

He made possitive strides under Turner until he bailed to SD in the eleventh hour. Fact: Smith never played under Martz. He re-injured his still not fully healed shoulder in the preseason and missed the entire 2008 season. Jimmy Raye was a dinosaur who didn't do jack for the 49erss and was fired by the team. so in Mike Singeltary's utter reerunation he chose quarterbacks coach Mike Johnson to run the offense. He was so bad they had to bring in another guy to help him call the plays.

Alex Smith is KC's staring QB now. Some of you may want to actually "try" and get the history right before you break out the Kleenex.

So you're saying you're a fan of Jimmy Raye?

I don't know what some people here want.

They want it their way or else the team is a clustershit.

Good, proven coach.
Good GM, unlike Pioli, Dorsey was mentored by the best in the business (who proved he can draft, unlike BB).
Good offseason moves (kept top players and signed solid ones)

The draft is not over yet.

Alex does provide hope because there's a good coach here who knows how to get the most of his QB. Let's wait and see. I am looking forward to next season.

My only beef was getting raped in the trade.

What, so are you some dinosaur racist?
GTFO. ****ing dinos deserve some respect from people that aren't bigots.

Seriously, the Compys are all like "**** off, Comixus".

I was on board with Geno but the whole at least we'd have tried mantra I am not. I'm on board with getting it right. Trying and losing equals losing. So don't draft me a bust QB with the 1.1 and tell me at least you tried. Is Alex Smith getting it right? If he's not then I won't be happy. Does that matter? Not really.

I think it's awesome, personally.

I've been a fan of this franchise since the late 60's. I've sat in an empty Arrowhead Stadium wearing a parka on many occasions.

I went to "scab" games.

I was there when Marty was hired, when Barry Word ran for 200 yards and Barry Sanders ran for 100 yards and flew back to see Joe Montana on Monday Night Football in 1993.

I've been to San Diego countless times, to Denver to the Meadowlands to watch Favre beat them in a game they should have won (if only DJ had made that interception) and I'm sure I'll see them time and time again, even if they suck and lose.

But you won't see me pull my own man card and say "That's IT! They didn't take the guy I wanted so I QUIT!".

LMAO

What a bunch of ****ing weeping vaginas.
