Sucks you missed out on the Vermeil era though, that offense was exciting to watch. With any defense at all it would've been a championship team.

lol, yep. I moved away from KC in 05,and decided to re-connect in 06. Obviously, my timing was super awesome. I DO remember buying a Holmes jersey the year they were possibly headed back to the play offs, but that didn't pan out. I respect the good times I had enough to not EVER want to support the division rivals, but I've set a hard and fast standard for these ****s because I've learned in my time at the planet how you build a consistent, championship-challenging team and the Chiefs just refuse to go that route. So, **** 'em until they learn and DO. If they would at least make the EFFORT, and TRY to take a QB in the first, I,ll give them my money and passion. Until then; meh.

If these chumps take Joeckel with the intentions of just letting Albert walk after this year, they deserve to be tarred and feathered.

If they trade Albert, move down (while adding a future first in the process) and replace Albert with Fisher or Joeckel...I'll somewhat understand. We could end up with a good left tackle as well as 2 additional first round picks.

If they extend Albert and take Fisher...I'll think they are reeruned...I'd literally rather see them take Jarvis Jones at 1 and draft a right tackle in the third (either our original pick or the comp pick we should get)

I wouldn't go quite that far. The last two QBs this place has gone crazy about were Sanchez and Jimmy Clausen. That hasn't stopped anyone from going nuts about Geno Smith.

Rg3 and Tannehill were popular last year. Typically it's QB's we have a shot at...

To be fair he started saying that before the Alex Smith stuff happened. Geno got some decent love at the Combine.
