More likely truth is JC is fine, Alex smith will do fine, and we will compete for a wild card 1 yr after worst season in memory, but still they will bitch that we didnt do what they wanted. |
LOL, one minute we love him, the next we think he's too small for the game... OK.....
And ya know what, it's not all about him. I get not having him take a ridiculous amount of reps in preseason, but the other starters around him could all claim the same thing. And they need to play together as a unit to gel properly. And unless somebody can say that contact caused the injury, let's go with him simply not being the specimen that others might be (from a durability standpoint). He's great, but he's injury prone. That doesn't mean he gets the whole preseason off, but perhaps a few less reps make sense. And he's reckless. That's how small guys make a name for themselves and survive in a league full of gigantic beasts. Remember the X-factor?! And it's OK, reckless entertains us. So go for it, that's why they're here....entertainment.... |

I am hoping that the Chiefs are really careful about Charles this week, and hold him out for this game.
Not overly concerned about Charles. Just want an opportunity to get to see the other backs. |

Jamaal Charles just walked up the hill. No noticeable issues in his walk. I think he will be fine. #Chiefs |

I wouldn't see the need to play him any more this preseason. Maybe a touch or two the final preseason game but that would be it. Kniles Davis needs all the reps he can get so hopefully we can count on him not **** things up. I didn't care for his running style very much. Seems like he needs to lower his pads and attack more. |
