That's what I mean. For PC to come even close to a console in price range (but still loses) you would have to wait and wait for a game's price to drop. Even then if I resell my game then we are even. Only on console you can play a new release right away instead of waiting months and months for the price to drop.

You can do it on PC too. No one is stopping you. Put that with the fact that most PC games are 10-20$ cheaper than console counterparts when released.

And quit with your i can resell my games shit. You get 5 bucks for a 60 or 70 dollar game, and most console games NEVER get resold.

Even if you do, it is still not even close im compariosn. You are just wrong dude.

It is as if you are a young earth creationist telling Dawkins and NDG how you know the earth is 6000 years old. You don't even realize how bad you sound talking to someone who actually knows shit :/

I just sold GTA 5, a game that was released 4 months ago for 45.

You don't even have to wait for the price drop for some pc games they start out cheaper. NBA 2k14 30$ day 1 pc 60$ console. Same game except next gen

only really 2 reasons to use a console

convenience - You can buy a single item and plug it into your t.v. in any room, break out the wireless controllers and internet connection and you are off and running. Very simple and compact with very few wires. Convenient multiplayer setup.

specific game titles - certain games are paid to be single platform only

The rest is crap

I heard the PS4 version of NBA 2K14 is actually better than the PC version because they didn't make a "next gen" version for the PC and just ported the 360/PS3 version over to the PC.

Your right actually, nba 2k14 is on PC is the same basic game is the previous gen 2k13, however his point stands. 2k games are always 30 bucks cheaper on PC regardless, last year's at the time, 'current gen' 2k13 was released at 29.99 when the 360 released at 60.

Couple that with the fact the next gen 2k14 bombed and is a micro transaction grindfest that people are pissed about.

Neither of those problems are the fault of the respective hardware platforms though, its not like even the most basic gamingg PC couldn't run the 'next gen' version of 2k14.

2k could be a 360 port until development for 360/ps3 stops. Not saying it will be, but it's possible.

New World Order 01-16-2014 12:20 AM

So if we directly compare a game like Battlefield 4, by reselling I would save about 10-15, possibly 20 bucks or so with console compared to pc.

Are we all paying attention here?

sadly I think it will be. Either that or the price for the PC NBA 2k will go up. I don't see them giving us a nex gen nba2k with the current price.

Did you even listen to your own video link?

He admits console is a piece of shit, but is forced to use it because developers wont give PC the love it deserves.

Why you ask? Its because Consoles make more money for developers. Not because they are better.

And why do consoles make developers more money than PC? Well, let me say this for the fortieth time.

CONSOLES ARE SHITTY PCS THAT HAVE SOFTWARE WHICH PIGEONHOLES YOU INTO BUYING HIGH PRICED GAMES, GETTING MICROTRANSACTED, AND CONTROLLING EVERY ASPECT OF USER EXPERIENCE IN ORDER TO GENERATE REVENUE IN A MARKET WHICH YOU HAVE NO ALTERNATIVES.

And as long as they have people BUYING INTO that business model, they will continue to do so.

Good thing its a SHRINKING market, and only plebs fall victim too it. I could give a shit about sports games. Ill stick with every other thing done better.

By the way, even if it is 29.99 on pc and I buy the console version for 60 and resell it for what it is going for on ebay I still save around 5-10 bucks.

Here is the 360 version for 31 bucks with 9 hours to go:

Now we can finally put this to rest.

Except your making shit up.

I looked up some prices of what console games bring in resale.

THE NEWEST BRAND NEW GAMES, are bringing 5-20$

you payed 60 bucks for that piece of shit. PC gamers bought it on black friday for 20 bucks.

And, again, the vast majority of console games NEVER get resold, or only do when they bring 1.50 at gamestop.

edit: also, go ahead and take out 13% ebay fee and 5 bucks shipping, plus 3% paypal fee.
