He gets calls to go his way. I'd say theres some skill to that.

Selling a call is cheating though, right? If there is a legitimate foul, no need to sell it.

There's a difference between selling a call that should actually be called and selling one that's not there.

I can't imagine how crazy the officiating may be in Stillwater.

If we play it out right, that game won't matter.

No, because you were legitimately fouled and not all legitimate fouls are called or even seen by the officials. Making sure the official knows it is different than straight up pretending that you got fouled.

You know all the calls at the basket that Smart wasn't getting today? He's going to get them. And more.

We're going to have to stay focused for the full 40 to stay in it.

No shit. And I suspect Wiggins and Ellis might show up.

Going to be a great game.

If there was no skill to it, Durant wouldn't be leading the NBA in FT attempts. He's amazing at it. So is Harden (who is 3rd in FT/A).

Embiid certainly isn't going to be ending that game with only 2 fouls, so we'll need them to.

So unless you legitimately are fouled, you shouldn't throw your arms up?

Skill or not, I'd rather watch basketball... not great athletes disrespecting the game, acting like whiny, flopping bitches, and a game that's chopped up with a ton of whistles and free throws.

Three straight. And old Rust Shack said it was going to be a season for the ages, what a pity.

Gamesmanship is part of the game at this point.

Catchers framing pitches, WR's selling pass interference etc. It happens.

I almost feel bad for the guy.

But, they'll be great next year. Probably a national title contender.

We got pretty good calls in the first half, and then they decided to not call anything and it got pretty physical. Then called a bunch of T's because it was too physical (dur). As long as it doesn't go too bad in OSU's favor, I like our chances. We were far better and more under control than they were. And the T's were just dumb.

Embellishing to deceive is the same thing in principle, though. It's about getting a call in your favor.
