That would be huge for us.

Honestly, the more I read about this, the more it seems that's WORST CASE SCENARIO...

I responded via email to a couple doctors about this and both said he should return to full strength by the 3 month mark, but it's common for players his size to have back issues going forward.

My fear is that they let him walk after the 2016 season because of the probability of future problems with his back.

Remember, John Dorsey replaced Brandon Albert because of back issues.

Dorsey will make the right decision on Poe. Not worried about it.

A lot of people didn't appreciate Jaye Howard last year. I think he could do a nice job of stuffing the run up the middle.

The fact they are talking about moving the pieces around instead of bringing in a vet tells me they might not think this is gonna linger throughout the season and that he will be back earlier rather than later.

IMO that's a big risk and they should bring in a veteran insurance policy.

You are dedicated, that's all.

I don't think I would ever take the time to email doctors about a DT for the team I watch 16 times a year.

I have a very close friend that's a very accomplished doctor and I inquire about family illnesses and second opinions all the time.

I had never thought to ask about professional athletes injuries but I think that's a great idea.

I'd imagine that in Boss's line of work, he has all kinds of clients that runs the gamut. I actually think it's pretty cool. The guy is passionate about the Chiefs.

Just checking to see if this has turned into a discussion about Alex Smith yet.
