I would sure as hell hope so. Guys on the radio this morning were saying Jeff Fischer and the Rams GM were probably curled up in the fetal position under their desks in shock after learning of this trade.

The gm MADE the trade.

He's drafted really well and they're literally a QB away from competing not only for the division but for the Super Bowl.

They went 7-9 with the 32nd ranked pass offense and the #29 overall offense. If things work out, they'll be humming by 2019 when they move into the new stadium.

An offense that bad is more than a qb away.

They have 1 wr and no one at TE and gurley. They need to move their qb along slowly, that's for sure.

Plus they're coached by fisher.

I'm sure they'll add more talent by the time the new stadium is opened and I would be absolutely shocked if Jeff Fisher is their coach in 2019.

This was a hell of a deal for TN considering they are happy with their QB from last year. Titans now have six picks in the top 76 in this year’s draft – 15, 33, 43, 45, 64 and 76... 9 picks overall. But, damn - 6 in the first 3 rounds is stellar (4 in the first 44).

One would think. Hopefully they can keep the defense together as well.

If it is in fact Wentz, they should sit him for a year to learn

If they were wise, they'd turn a couple of those picks into 2017 selections.

He's not going to be. I think the only thing that would keep him past this year would be a super bowl.

I also think they are pretty sure of who they want to be the next coach

SAUTO 04-14-2016 03:42 PM

And ftr this deal has been done basically since night before last.

Crazy that no one knew.

Harbaugh.

Jim Harbaugh.

He'd own LA and the 49ers.

Why not? Belichick did it for years in NE and Robinson is a protege.

But to further that, what they should do is bundle up a few of those picks and get at least another first rounder.

Their secondary is a mess, as is their WR corp. They have the ammo to get a couple of top tier secondary players while filling out their D line with a second and third rounder.

Their biggest obstacle is Mike Mularkey. Good grief, what an awful head coach.

They said some dude's name in addition to Fisher, it must have been someone other than the GM (obviously). I thought the visual of them curled up in the dark under their desks was pretty amusing...

They've got some good young wrs they just drafted. They need to load up the ol aND defense.

Getting back into the forst would be a good idea

Belichick did it for years and what awesome players does he have to show for it?

I'm not saying that he made the right decisions with those trades but the idea is sound.
