we keep all the Cardinals talk in one thread to avoid spamming the board with non-Chiefs threads. Been that way since 2004 or so. Makes it easy to put on ignore too. Might be a good template to use for other subjects. Megathreds easily placed on ignore that doesn't clutter up the front page if the subject isn't your cup of tea.

Probably more lack of available help to make the changes than anything.
Forum needs a layout re-boot anyhow. Would be better to do it on the new vBulletin, wish I had the means to buy it for the place but I don't.

You're not getting the point that megathreads are annoying to navigate and read.

I was pointing out what others have already said, for non-Chiefs topicsmegathrears are a necessary evil to keep the front page filled with Chiefs related topics. Mega threads for Chiefs related subjects are not necessary.

DC needs more aggressive moderation. It can be from a team of two respected liberals and two respected conservatives.

But abusive language and behavior needs to be bled out of that forum. Unfounded articles from blatantly partisan sources need to be labeled as much, like they do on Reddit. It's the number one complaint everybody has of that page.

We need to see your voter Identification.

If you really want to liven up DC, have it STRICTLY moderated only by voters of the current party in power in the White House. LMAO

Get rid of mults and posters that keep coming back from perma ban.

Or that anything related to the Cardinals lowers the overall quality of content on any forum....

Sources you agree with need to be posted so others can fall under your approval. As well, we need to have your blessings on who falls into the approved category for support.

If we all operate within the guidelines you supply goodness and light will surely follow.

But yea, I'm a ****ing loser.

I feel like I post a decent amount. We started at the same time and you have 21,000 more posts than I do.

I have been in pretty much every game day Royals thread for the past 4 years.

So **** you, that's why!

Can we also add taco Tuesday and pizza Friday. Oh, and a open bar would be nice, thanks in advance.

Institute a warning system for posters who are in danger of being banned. You'd be surprised what a civil conversation between a poster and a Mod can accomplish. If someone is crossing the line, someone from the Mod team should reach out via PM and let said poster know that there is a problem.

I agree with this one. I hope that we can find a way of helping people to figure out how to stick around a little more often rather than quickly wielding the ban hammer.

I think mods kind of get tired of trying this approach and having it blow up in their faces, but it's worth doing as much as possible anyway.
