tell them to install dissenter. Articles disabling comments is censorship. I for once don't trust any article/video with comments disabled.

But that's how it goes, one site starts censoring and a lot of users will go somewhere else and realize that they don't actually like free speech and most go back. Seen it a bunch of times over the years with other sites.

That said, I'm going to try to make this work:

Let's say that Sandy vagina goes to the Alex Smith sucks thread and and makes a post about Alex getting signed with the Washington Redskins and making another eleventy billion dollars that he in no way, shape, or form deserves in this lifetime.

Now, let's say that I take offense at that post and I choose to grab Sandy by her e-head and splatter her ****ing brains all over the thread for a good page or so.

Sooner, rather than later, in a thread that was designed for the express purpose of lamenting exactly how much Alex Smith truly sucks, Sandy will find herself being white knighted buy an ill-tempered moderator who has proven time and again that they lack the even keel necessary to do the job, and I will be the one getting excommunicated from the ****ing thread. As it currently stands today wouldn't you know.

Did I bump the thread to start with? No.
Did I even want to talk about that pitiful one who sucks the penis? No.

But I'm the one who ends up losing participation privileges while that stupid ****ing **** who isn't even a Chiefs fan runs all over the ****ing board.


That is a very cut-and-dried example. There are others, but they're a little more nuanced. I hope this helps you to understand the point that I was trying to get across.

My translator is coming up with him upset over being thread banned, who knows when. Maybe the alex smith may never play again thread. I looked at every thread on the first 3 most recent pages and it didn't appear he was banned from any of them.

But the translator could be on the fritz too
