When the Patriot AIDS was in its death throes here in KC, we had very similar offseasons in 2011 and 2012.

It got to the point where we weren't even signing guys like Steve Breaston. Our big "free agent get" from 2012 was Stanford Routt.

The problem for the Texans is this is the terminal kind of Patriot AIDS. It's affected the brain of its owner, and it won't ever go away until he sells the team or dies.

The Texans are about to become a Cleveland Browns 2002-2020 type of franchise.

And next year's QB class not looking great.

Maybe the skinny Daniels kid does something.

Is the other Griffin still in Seattle?

RunKC 03-16-2021 11:39 AM

So the Packers draft a RB in the 2nd rd last year.

Then pay Aaron Jones a new contract worth $12 million AAV

Then let Corey Linsley walk for a contract worth $12 million AAV

Okay then

RealSNR 03-16-2021 11:41 AM

It IS kind of fun to watch New England make all these moves.

Belichick finally cracked and realized without Tom he can't just pick up desperate players and tell them, "do your job."

We're watching an arrogant son of a bitch who has had it too good for too long realize that the bill is coming due, and he needs to fix things FAST.

I'm 100% expecting the Patriots to spend picks and actually ****ing trade up and get a QB. All those years of, "trade back, let the other teams make the mistakes, blah blah" are gone-- now he has to do the same strategy he pooh poohed for years because HIS job is on the line.

Okay then

They're also letting Jamaal Williams walk in free agency. So their RB depth is shorter AND they're weaker up front for those RBs.

What an underwhelming "tread water" move this is.

There’s just so much talent at WR in the draft every year. Unless you’re getting a legit top guy, it’s best to wait it out and get somebody for cheap.

I take that as either:

These WRs want large contracts and no one is offering them.

Or

These WRs want one year deals and nobody wants to give it to them.
