Thuney threw the guy on his ass- it was not holding.

They would not show a replay of the Creed hold-prob bullshit as well.

Do you think this was done to keep the game close? I thought they'd let the Chiefs run away with it, but clearly they rigged it to keep it close. Took some Chiefs self sabotaging to do it, but the result is all the same.

Sounds like you got a better view than anyone else on the call.

Not rigged, but not a fan of this altered scheduling. Making us play a Saturday game, possibly a Monday night playoff game, it ****s around with the team's schedule and throws it off. Not a fan.

I like to think I'm a pretty observant watcher :)

I’m sticking with my guns and saying the NFL is rigging a Chargers win today if they need to. If it’s close late, watch for calls to go the Chargers’ way.

Does anyone have any rigging predictions that go against Vegas odds? I’ve seen some people picking the Texans over the Titans. That’s a bold call.

SO in this scenario, if the clearly superior team wins the game, you can claim you were right. Way to put yourself out on a limb.

The Chargers are only favored by 3. It’s not like it’s a sure fire thing.

Also, this is a hypothetical thread. If the NFL were rigged, what would that look like? At least that’s how I’m enjoying this thread. I don’t actually believe the NFL rigged.

Chargers might be clearly more talented, but that just means they're more of a dumpster fire at 9-7 than a Raiders team that has every reason to tank, yet beat the Colts last week... and which team gave up 40+ to the worst offense in the league recently.

I think the point is if the Chargers live up to being the wildly inconsistent team that they are, the refs would give them a little boost to get them into the playoffs (in a hypothetical sort of way).

Putting the Chiefs in the 2 gives the weekend better ratings. More want to watch the Chiefs than the Chargers or Titans.

No, that's not what he said at all. He said if it's close late in the game, watch the Chargers get the calls in order to get them in the playoffs. It's pretty clear what he said. He called his shot, and he also gave the scenario to watch out for.

I don't want to believe the NFL is rigged however rules should be applied equally in all situations; Bengals/Browns game... Bengals QB brought the ball down and was trying to escape pressure, hut and fumbled. Very similar to some other QB who reportedly seems to get a lot of calls. Ruled a fumble, challenged by Bengals coach, still a fumble. It really seems odd that in an important situation such as a turning point in a playoff game, the NFL officials would group together and make it a 'tuck'.

I know the game is meaningless however, it still seems really odd that the Golden Boy, whose team owner at the time, is good friends with the NFL Commissioner, is the only player that I have seen get that call.
