That's certainly the chatter -- road racing. If it was that and no one has debilitating injuries, Rice's career is not over but next season is certainly in jeopardy.

This is a great point. It isn't good and the fleeing the scene of an accident charge will stick, but unless I'm mistaken, there are no fatalities and if they can't get him for DUI, the severity of the situation is greatly diminished. There will still be some tough consequences, but that doesn't sound like a career ending situation.
