And didn't Veach sign Butker?

I wonder if they were monitoring Bahktiari and his rehab, as well.

Seems like they had to be monitoring DJ closely because they signed him within hours of getting cleared. BV acted quickly to get puntgod, too shortly after being cleared.

I’m glad we don’t feel the need to field a whole team of boy scouts anymore.

21 & 22' were arguably some of the best drafts in franchise history with some other really good sprinkled picks in there.

Nobody is going to go crazy over this stuff but that Suggs signing was really damn good, Dunlap was another damn good signing, and if we win our 3rd straight title alot of its going to be because of the moves he made DURING the year (JuJu, Nuk, Humphries, etc.)

Hunt

Giving “F” grades on 7th round picks isn’t super fair IMO

I mean if they didn’t make the team and are out of the NFL…

I don't care what the power dynamic was with the team pissed off at Dorsey. Veach wasn't making the choices.

Well sir:

We like “DJ”s at Arrowhead. Welcome aboard, sir. Glad to have you on the ‘ship!

fadeaway 11-23-2024 05:08 AM

I’d be more than happy seeing him come back in next year too. Let Sumo and Morris continue to develop out of the spot light.

Would also give us a bit more freedom in the draft to fill some of the ‘easier’ holes

Melvin Ingram.

Butker.

These were hugely impactful midseason additions.

Whisper it quietly, Kadarius Toney

JFC you morons are absolutely clueless.

The Chiefs are easily one of the best drafting teams of the last several years, and that's while picking at the bottom of every ****ing round. Get a ****ing clue.

EVERYBODY MISSES.

To prove your point with a non-biased objective article. I came into this thread interested to read about this guy and am shocked all I got was discussion about, checks notes, our GM who has helped us win three super bowls and apparently isn't good at his job. People really are just looking for something to complain about these days.

LOL In fairness, he played pretty damn well right after the trade.

Morris is a bum.

Humphries will start unless he is injured, sooner than later.

When it comes to position groups, continuity is most important for the offensive line. I think I’d keep a tenured, but average, lineman over a slightly above average new addition. If this were the offseason, I’d agree with you.

What's interesting is I recently saw multiple clips of Hill having a good Mahomes pass bounce off his hands for an INT...he has several in one season. It happened in OT of the Bengals AFCCG too. Nobody shit on him to the point of being benched.

If Toney had been offsides on any play other than the craziest Chiefs TD of the year...no one would have remembered.

His record setting return in the SB made that trade 100% worth it...he must have had really bad juju to fall out of favor to the level he did. The fans turned him faster than I've ever seen on a single player...he had talent.
