We all did it LMAO And it was justified. 1.6% We just forgot one important thing... These Royals. Devil magic. Ned Yost. October. Shit. That's 4 things. |
According to Andy Moose gave a motivational speech before the eighth though it was mostly expletives
|
Wednesday is going to be a great day.
1) My twins are being born. 2) the royals are going to finish off the Astros |

Moooooose... Gotta love these guys!
|
Yeah, it's crazy anyone would bring up that stuff now... everyone knows who should get crap 162+ games a year for calling "game over"/"season over", etc. Talk to those people when it's the 3rd inning of game one, after game one, halfway through game 2, any time during game 3, when it was tied today or even 3-2.
But yeah, there comes a time when any reasonable person is going to say "damn, they're going to lose"... but, please don't say everyone was pete today, as I said, "reasonable person." |

Maybe Ned can coach the Chiefs once the Royals are done doing what they do.
|
say what you want about Moose and Hosmer
but those guys are ****ing gamers. They are. I was mad when people were giving up on Hosmer because of a few bad at bats ... that dude carried us last year and was HUGE time, after time, after time kind of like today ... in the 8th and 9th |

I'm sorry, Tex. Good luck with your fight on Wednesday.

This Astros forum thread is hysterical. Start reading here while they're on top of the world then watch it all start to crumble.

I didn't get to see the last few innings, but I can't wait to watch it after work.
And I hate to admit it, but I thought it was all over after the 7th inning. |

So will Houston try and 'Bumgarner" us in game 5 with Keuchel?
|
Quote:
If the Royals don't win game 5, I'm absolutely rooting for Houston over either the Jays or the Rangers. |

That being said I think you took a couple of responses to it a little too personal. They were no different than the typical response any of us Chiefs' fans give our liked rival fans here. A harsh "eat a dick" reply is known to be with in the realm of sports rivalry and no more (in most cases). I'm pretty sure that is all that was going on here. |

and we should counter with Wade ****ing Davis Seriously. Ned should go in with the thought process of Davis pitching 9 outs. And I know tk13 is going to laugh out loud at this ... but it is what it is. It's the postseason, and you can't hit him. Maddon is going to pitch Arrieta 150+ if he needs to every time out ... no reason we can't pitch Davis 9 outs in an elimination game. That's how much better he is than anyone else on the Royals pitching staff. |

That 86 Mets series was one of the most incredible 5 games series ever. Charlie Kerfeld. Glenn Davis homering off Doc Gooden in game 1. (Gooden v Mike Scott). |

Very bad feeling about Cueto

Why wouldn't we start Medlen and give Cueto an extra day? What's Medlen good for if he's just going to collect dust?
|
Bad feeling or not. THIS is what we got Cueto for. We need this to work. It has to work.
|
...because Cueto, despite his troubles in KC, is a bona fide, proven ace. This is what we brought him here to do. If he chokes on his dick, so be it ... but there is no way that guy shouldn't get the ball in game 5 over Kris Medlen. I like Medlen, and I think Cueto should have a C.J. Wilson sized leash ... but Cueto gets the go IMO
But in Ned I trust. |
JFC what a game. Anyone got video highlights?
I was only able to catch parts of the game on radio at work. Can't wait to go back and read some of the game thread too. LMAO |
It would be hilarious if Texas does the same thing.
Totally not going to happen, but still. |

McHugh in game 5.
He stymied us pretty good last time |

I think they get upset due to his streakiness. |
Ha, that was a fairly sarcastic post, which makes it funnier that it leads off your posts.

All I know is that in game 5, Ned will do something that many of us strenuously disagree with, but it will work out brilliantly because he is a magical warlock.

Go ROYALS keep kicking that ass |
Even before the game this morning I was like "My gut is in knots. Is sports even fun anymore?"
Then magic happened and now I'm headed back to KC for game 5 with my long time buddies. Sports man. |

Older fans, that comeback win has to be up there with 70's and 80's glory days type of wins doesn't it? Especially if they win the series.
