Genuinely stupid basketball in the last three games for sure. The Warriors clearly weren’t the more physically talented team but they had the experience and the smarts to get it done.

The national/Boston-centric media actually made him 1st team All-NBA this year too. As a Raptors fan, I’m not convinced he’s any better than Pascal Siakam (who actually showed up in the Finals).

Not everyone has the good fortune of playing with 3 other HOFers at one time like MJ did I’m afraid.

Al Bundy 06-16-2022 09:39 PM

That was one hell of a series. The Celtics looked gassed in the last 6-8 minutes of that 4th quarter. James Wiseman comes back next season for the Warriors. The Celtics are going to be back, but **** their fans.

Lebron's iteration of a super team involved outright collusion over multiple years with other super stars, including blatant tampering and salary cap manipulation.

Still waiting, btw.

Being a good player doesn't matter as much now. Its a chuck it league. He's the best 3point shooter in the history of basketball. That alone may make him more valuable. Thats how the NBA is set up these days. Shoot 60 three pointers. Protect the 3 point shooter.

LeBron isn’t leaving Cleveland if he’s winning titles with actual good players instead of Mo Williams, Delonte West, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. That seems fairly self-evident.

lebron wouldn't win a title with klay and draymond as his supporting cast - steph DID...AGAINST LEBRON

fact is he lost finals with better supporting casts, and the only reason he isn't an embarrassing 3-7 in the finals is because kyrie bailed him out

Draymond is one of the more overrated players in the history of the sport. He just stands there and throws passes to the 3point line for Klay and Curry (and now Jordan Poole) to cash in. He's not hof good. Not even close.

Curry’s supporting cast is the best in the history of basketball. Played with 2 other HOFers for over a decade and 3 HOFers (including a player actually better than him) for 2 of his actual titles.

Did I just dream Durant winning 2 FMVPs over Curry? Or when Iguodala won his over Curry for holding LeBron to 40 point triple doubles?

Valiant 06-16-2022 10:05 PM

LeBron had the biggest choke of all time. There were 4 top 75players on his team and missed the playoffs.

He joined the heat with a stacked team and only won two.

He built up the cavs when he rejoined with two more allstars and traded wiggens who he could not win with.

Went to la and won a shortened season. Added 3 top 75 players.

Wiggens and poole were getting dogged on before the playoffs. Now those same players are allstars? It is strange Steph makes players better around him and revolutionized the game. People love not giving him credit.

What did I say yall? I told yall that the C's were an AVERAGE TEAM who relied heavily on the three point shot similar to Harden's Rockets. And just like that team against Golden State the Celtics couldn't stay hot from deep and they got exposed as a result...especially as they don't have a real PG to create easy buckets.
