2 high round picks and 1 middle round. I’m good with that.

Red Dawg 02-24-2018 08:53 PM

They care same as what you think. It a stupid message board. Hardly anything but entertainment.

I like picks and a player. I like seeing what Veach is targeting in the players he goes after.

Chief Northman 02-24-2018 08:53 PM

Rams should be picking low next couple years.

A 1st rounder is essential. Hopefully conditions are attainable (starts/snaps). Having a 5th year option drafted player is important.

I’d be satisfied with a 2018 3rd and 5th, and a 2019 1st.
If the 2019 pick ends up being a 2nd, I’m less than lukewarm on the deal.

It’s a good trade. As good as we can hope for given everything we know.

Truth. That 2019 1st could be more beneficial in the long run, and I’m sure Peters will meet the requirements. Probably playing time(?)

His first season will be his best there.

Let’s just pretend it is a 2018 3rd, 5th, and 2019 2nd with conditions that could escalate to a 1st.

Will any of them be the kind of player Peters is? Probably not... but I do believe in Veach. And I bet he could get at least 2 big contributors from those picks. Players who will play hard and not be a complete pain in the ass to work with, and will embrace being here.

Everything is a clean slate now with 15. The last thing we need is locker room issues to spring up or anything like that.

Yes, it is the best pick you dumbass.

Alright kid, I don't know how you got it figured out and deducted from zero confirmed reports anywhere but apparently, in your mind at least, there is no other scenario other than a 2018 3rd and that is at best.

After the details are released (a formality for you of course), can you share with us how you knew?

:D

The first thing he ever told me before I heard about it here or anywhere else was the Pat Surtain deal. He also knew about Dorsey before I heard it anywhere but I thought he was full of shit. A couple days before Smith was traded he told me "something huge was going to happen very soon" but that's all his buddy would say.

He's been wrong a couple of times too though. He said Emmanuel Sanders was signed a few years ago and that no QB's were even on our radar before last year's draft.

Hall of Fame....... thread.

To be fair Sanders essentially was signed.

I would be shocked if the Chiefs got a 1st or 2nd in this deal. Absolutely shocked.

Just don’t see it happening

How quickly people forget Schefter at first said 2nd round pick for Alex Smith. They can be wrong. They have been before and none of them have said for certain. It’s their opinions. I’m sure they have an idea but can’t say.
