I'm guessing he will be out as long as he was at the beginning of the season, but probably longer. I could see him starting a rehab assignment in a couple of months only to be shut down because he hurts his hamstring or something.

The question now is can we get to double digit losing streaks twice before the All Star Break.

Remember the steps of the typical Royals season:
Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance.

Steps 1-4 come before the ASG.
Step 5 Afterwards.

Some fans were at 5 before the season started :)

Witt Jr should be in AAA, but for some reason he's being blocked by Alcides ****ing Escobar and some other slap dick. Pratto should also be in AAA, but he's being blocked by McBroom (who should be on the ML club). Hopefully Dayton has a plan for after the all star break to promote some very worthy players. Hell there are 5-6 guys that should be promoted on that AA club alone, Witt, Pratto, Melendez, Dungan, Martin.

Back again. Too bad about Rivera though.

Rivera broke his hand in his second MLB game. Bummer.

I wonder if it's when he caught that foul ball in the dugout with his cap. Hudler mentioned that it was a pretty heads up play on his part. IF that's when it happened, uh, not so much. :shrug:

This was me, expecting a WC playoff push next year, maybe Division contender in 2023. It was fun when we got off to a good start in April, but all one had to do was look at who we started the season off with in April. Schedule was the hardest. The surprising thing that made me pay attention to was winning away! When you can win at home well and go .500 or better away, you have a quality ball club. We were at or under .550 home and over .500 away while our pitching wasn't consistent enough to contend. We were getting production from guys not counted on as starters and had starters out to start the season.

But it did give many fans a glimpse of the future and some optimism. We do have plenty of talent at the minors than need to be brought along like we did in 2012 thru 2016.

So Trevor Bauer is ****ed. She may like it rough, but sounds like he went a little crazy.
