Nope.

What is everyone's thoughts on lateral and front shoulder raises?

They always feel awkward and included weird clicking/popping. Sometimes there's even some pinching.

Bulletproof coffee FTW

Either you have some structural issues or you are doing them improperly. ;)

forgot to mention, dont get so caught up in that carb #, unless you are sedentary. He says in the book if your active, ie lifting heavy, try to hit around 30. You have a range depending on activity level and your going to get trace carbs here and there from cheese, cream etc. reduce cardio and just lift your ass off. :D

That's what I've been doing. Hit 30 carbs on the head yesterday.

I do them as clean up work after I do presses and whatnot. I don't have any issues, though.

BPC is a staple in my keto diet. I've also been doing a 20/4 intermittent fast. I didn't think I'd like it but it really simplifies things. I find that I have better workouts in a fasted state.

I generally try to do a 16/8 intermittent fast. I might try and integrate it into CNS three days a week. I don't generally eat breakfast anyways.....so it's not that big of a deal.

Yeah I know.....that's the one downfall. I've got no problem eating breakfast for dinner though.

Try the machine.

Good call. I moved to the machine for reverse flies a long time ago for this very reason.

Okay, I went to Philly last week, and ate WAY too much bread (and sweets). Back on track this week. I did gain some, so I'm trying to burn it back off. I'm still doing my workouts, but I'm thinking of upping my jogging to everyday (on top of the gym time). Is that too much? Is anything really too much as long as I'm not burnt out?

Just take less weight at the beginning and work on your form. A little clicking and popping shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't feel any pain. I don't like the machine too much for that exercise honestly...

Silock 07-29-2014 02:40 PM

I find that the machine is better because it won't let you cheat. Machines are less than ideal for compound exercises, but really shine on isolation stuff.
