LeBron was actually their best player late in the game today too. He blocked Jokic with a minute left in the game (the play where he sprained his ankle), creating an opportunity for the Lakers to get within one score (which they did). His two baskets and two assists before that in the previous few minutes were the only thing that got them in position to even do that much.

If anybody is criticizing LeBron after that one, they don't know ball.

You're aware what MJ was doing at age 39, right?

Why do you keep calling him 39?

Now that the injury is out there? Everyone knows he's been playing on that foot all playoffs.

I round up.

But I'll ask again, what was MJ doing at LeBron's age?

KCC, go to the hockey thread.

About to be double OT.

They would have only been down 3 if lebron hadn't butterfingered his way out of a showboating dunk.

And they'd have been completely blown out if he didn't have a great game overall.

who cares? he took three years off before he returned

take lebron out of the game for three years and see what happens

lebron's talent was always going to age better than jordan's

hasn't gotten him more accomplishments, or made him a better player

You finally consistently showed up in this thread. It only took 2 Lakers postseason losses in a row for the first time this playoffs. LMAO

Considering that's the case then, shouldn't he have had way more in the tank then than a guy who has played basketball deep into May/June for 20 years straight and not looked like a complete corpse of himself in Washington?

MJ came back to stat pad for a terrible Wizards team and he couldn't even do that efficiently. At the same age, LeBron is averaging a triple double on 50% shooting in the WCF as his team's best player.

Just poking a bit of fun at Lebron wearing a cast for his broken hand only AFTER he'd already been playing on it for 3 games because 'word got out'.

Series is over. You absolutely cannot lose that game.

Davis, Russell, Schroeder and yes James, simply didn't play championship caliber ball in a game that they had on their racquet.

Just not a game a title team loses. Denver invited LA to win it and they just refused.

On the contrary, I'm in my element (defending LeBron being the best player on his team while posting triple doubles in big playoff games while his teammates let him down). It's good to be back to normal.
