LeBron was actually their best player late in the game today too. He blocked Jokic with a minute left in the game (the play where he sprained his ankle), creating an opportunity for the Lakers to get within one score (which they did). His two baskets and two assists before that in the previous few minutes were the only thing that got them in position to even do that much.

If anybody is criticizing LeBron after that one, they don't know ball.

Considering that's the case then, shouldn't he have had way more in the tank then than a guy who has played basketball deep into May/June for 20 years straight and not looked like a complete corpse of himself in Washington?

MJ came back to stat pad for a terrible Wizards team and he couldn't even do that efficiently. At the same age, LeBron is averaging a triple double on 50% shooting in the WCF as his team's best player.
