You know what happened the last time Reid hired a coordinator who wasn't in his network of coaches? We got Bob Sutton.

Sutton had never once been a coach with Andy Reid. How or why Andy knew about him or selected him I have no idea. Liked his resume enough to take a chance on him, I guess.

Those choices don't always work out.

I assume its the big brain thing we keep hearing about. Supposedly in the offseason coordinators still pick suttons brain. Maybe hes rain man on paper and the film room but that just doesnt translate to the field without a prime EB and DJ to make adjustments in game.

The Seattle defensive scheme looks like it is losing a lot lately.
