They will coast to the one seed, but the playoffs will be a struggle if something doesn't change.

They won't lose another regular season game. However, the playoffs are another story.

Kelce's fumble was as much to blame as MVS's drop. Not sure if Kelce was thinking about/missing Taylor Swift....but his head was not there tonight.

You could come up with all kinds of ways they could have found the money to get someone who could fill the Juju role and I think that's all they would have needed but for whatever reason (you fill in the blank) they didn't do it.

Doesn't matter if you have Mahomes if you don't have WRs that can get open and, when they do, can't catch 30% of the time.

And Kelce fumbling when we're about to go up two scores in games is getting old (no joke).

I attribute it to success breeding arrogance in the FO. Tried to force their round 2 pick and Toney trade, and neither is NFL caliber receiver. And here we are.

No, the WRs were absolutely the #1 reason we lost the game.

My point is that we STILL win if Mahomes and Kelce don't have stupid turnovers in the red zone.

It's really that simple. We can still win, even with this group, but we can't ****ing take potentially 14 points off the board.

I don't think he's been "off." Maybe off if we're comparing him to the years when he had good weapons around him, but he's got the 3rd best QBR in the NFL despite perhaps the worst collection of wide receivers in NFL history.

I think Kelce is not quite right he seems to be moving in slow motion.

That's a bold statement. Agree with you on Kelce. That play was a killer.

Blame the WRs all you want, but your best players can't turn the ball over twice in the red zone.

It just felt almost exactly the same as the Lions loss earlier this year (although I think we played much better here overall). They win both games if they had receivers who can perform at a NFL level.

Kelce did mention he has been thinking about retirement today. Said he’s in constant pain with his knees. May be his final season honestly.

Pasta Little Brioni 11-20-2023 10:42 PM

Out coached by a tool like Siriani is pathetic

Agreed, very slim margin for error. Need the superstar players to avoid mistakes. Those turnovers were horrible. Also dislike the strategy of Reid and Mahomes to keep forcing the deep ball. It’s a low percentage play even if you have prime Randy Moss, never mind the current group of WR’s in Kansas City.

Hawker007 11-20-2023 10:42 PM

The false start/non offside penalty was absolutely 100% inexcusable. That ref needs to be investigated at this point. Where is the overhead guys saying that hat is absolutely an offsides?????

George Liquor 11-20-2023 10:42 PM

Most of these dudes arent even JAGs. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning could make JAGs like Brandon Stokely and Chris Hogan into decent WRs. The Chiefs' WRs are active detriments to the team.
