Did the race start?

The local channels cut to a critical issue due to Hurricane Irene. I think they said, we might loose a high-rise in the Atlantic -- 30 foot waves are crashing on to land...

Now, we have a tornado watch warning -- ... the city is flooded...

Yeah it started. Kyle Busch went over the fence on lap 3, rolled it 12x and was thrown from the vehicle. Thankfully, he landed on his head and was uninjured

No? I'm in the the middle of Hurricane Ireneageddon...

Let me live stream the game.

They're not showing the race -- they're going to torture us news of horrible destruction -- live photos of pounding rain, high winds, and the Atlantic Ocean sweeping through Manhattan

On lap 71. Kenseth in the lead. Kyle is 12th

I should have taken Irene seriously. The south have a lot more experience with hurricanes.
I didn't think I would be in the projected path of a direct hit. I've never experienced a hurricane of this scale.

Millions May Lose Power as Irene Carves Destructive Path

The outages may dwarf those caused by U.S. Gulf Coast Hurricanes Ike, Rita and Katrina because of the storm’s path through residential areas...

Power companies as far west as Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma are organizing repair workers to send east to help with repairing the damage

“Everybody across the United States is on alert,” he said.

Full restoration of power “could take between one and three weeks,”

Many of New York’s electric transformers and substations are located underground, putting them at risk of flooding from Irene’s rains and tidal surge

Tidal surge?

Seriously, unless I'm hanging horizontally from the balcony, I'm gonna be very disappointed in this thing.

Dylan 08-27-2011 07:27 PM

lol...Stremme punts Reutimann into the wall. Reutimann returns the favor...

Shame: Collects Hamlin & Menard in their mess

 i didn't plan for that...

I'm waiting for NASCAR to throw a caution for debris so all hell will break loose..

I found out why we'll have to wait until the last 20 laps for some excitement...

Bristol changed the banking configuration and turned it into a snooze fest.

Yeah, they did that a couple years ago...where the hell have you been?

I missed who hit Martin from the rear -- so did the announcers... lol
