There’s that aspect too.

I’ve seen absolutely nothing from Chiefs players on this.

I thought I looked at a tweet welcoming him to Chiefs Kingdom

My post was referencing Peters since his departure—I have yet to see any Chiefs players acknowledge it or say thanks/good luck. The typical things for a high stature player who gets traded. Smith got a bunch of it, Fuller got a bunch from Redskins players..

And it’s been completely quiet for Peters. Just kinda makes you wonder.

Maybe Marshawn hit him up

"He went from hella weak to weak, ya feel me, now he fittin to go get loaded"

not so much as to wonder, but simply to reinforce the reasoning behind his release :thumb:

then again, the rest of the team could be deep sea rock moving with alex, so they didn't get the text ROFL

Pugs I'm back. I'll play Madden again if you want. I'll bench Peters I swear lol.

The Chiefs didn't know when to move on from LJ and it cost them.

They knew when to move on from Jared Allen, and they came out on the plus side.

I really think they looked at their history here and determined that if they were honest with themselves about who Marcus Peters was, what he was going to ask for and what they could get for him this year, when they were lacking a lot of draft capital...this was the best thing to do.

Especially if he didn't want to be here and was about to tell everyone about it, further diminishing his value. Or worse. Much worse.

I think Brett Veach sold off a valuable asset before it blew up in his face and he got nothing at all for it.

This makes sense to me.

.

LJ was WAY more ****ed up than Peters is....I remember the story of his neighbor finding him in his house...riding an exercise bike. That would be ****ed up to walk in and have a stranger working out in your basement...and then have it be a Chief. I'm not sure how I would have handled it..."Oh, hi Larry...BTW, WTF are you doing in my basement"

Peters is going to be a good CB for a long time...just not for KC. He's just young and emotional...and on a team he doesn't like.

Frankly, the more I learn about the sketchy Hunt family history/CHunt being a Goldman Sachs alum...and him being currently indited for ripping off tax payers...the more I'm starting to despise this hypocritical franchise. The internet has made looking into someone's sordid past a lot more accessible...and I'm not liking what I'm learning. They view their fans as cash lemmings...Peters may have thrown a flag into the crowd but at least he's not a thief ripping off an entire state (New Mexico). Wearing a tie/inheriting a team doesn't make you a decent human...let alone give you the right to preach morality when you have none yourself.

LJ was very ****ed up. So is Peters. There is a lot of shit that goes unspoken right now about him.

At least he's not breaking into people's houses...and using their exercise equipment. That's as funny as it is insane.

And if I recall correctly, Jared Allen went on to have several good seasons with Minnesota and didn't have anymore legal issues... So I don't think we knew when to move on from him. We just had a narcissist as a GM at the time.

Lmao. If that seriously happened to me I'd be laughing my ass off so hard before I made any phone calls.

The Jared Allen traded turned out to be one of the best in Chiefs history. I absolutely love Jared Allen, but it made sense to deal him, and the haul we got turned out to be great.

Every billionaire asshole in the world screwed over many souls to get there. Clark is no different in keeping his fortune.
