Such an odd game on so many levels.
1. OL looked like one of the worst in the NFL in the first quarter, but gave Mahomes time in the second half.
2. McKinnon appears to carry for 6 yards a pop, yet Andy force feeds the ball to an ineffective CEH?
3. New York could/should have reviewed the Jones fumble recovery and ruled it a change of possession with 15 yards on the change of possession.
4. The kicker rollercoaster continues.
5. Lucky payback holding penalty on the field goal to give KC a fresh set of downs.
6. Atrocious Raider play calling. How did they not feed Adams the ball the entire game? He should have had a dozen targets easy.
7. Raiders blew it not going for the tie.
8. Great to see MVS step up, but JuJu seems to be on a different playbook at times.
9. Does anyone have a screen shot of Moore's face before his first return? Looked really odd.
10. A win is a win. That blown call on Jones provided the energy and momentum shift the team needed.
11. Does anyone have the video of Crosby headbutting Mahomes?

Love the list.

3 things for me:

6. Part of the reason they didn't feed Adams is because the Chiefs started rolling a safety his direction. In fact, the coverage on his 2nd half TD was pretty good by Cook and Watson, Carr just made a good throw and Adams made a great catch.

8. MVS had one egregious drop last night but he's the WR that appears to have the connection with Mahomes. He had a really good game last night and I'm encouraged by it.

10. Yep. Bad call but the Chiefs came out after that on a mission.

Oh good lord. Don't you people profess to be fans of football?

Crying about a head bump like that is sissy talk. It is as far from a head butt as a slap on the back is from a haymaker.

I think the point is, if Chris Jones can be flagged for using words against Matt Ryan after the whistle, why wouldn't Crosby be flagged for being physical with Mahomes? It's about the inconsistency of NFL rules/officiating.

Also, congrats on the Raiders Raidering it up and giving you the game. This team finds ways to lose and completely deserve the 1-4 record despite out playing their opponent in at least 3 of the losses.

The intelligent fans around here really appreciate what you have with Andy Reid and Mahomes.

It's not about the bump on the head. It's about the wild inconsistency with which the refs determine whether or not it's a penalty.

If that had been Tom Brady on the receiving end, that would have been a 15-yard penalty.

They ****ing called the worst UC penalty on Grady Jarrett on Sunday and then turned around and let the Raiders whip Mahomes to the ground and nothing.

NFL officiating is legitimately terrible. Like, makes the game nearly unwatchable terrible. I know y'all hold your breath after any big play just like every other fan of any team in the NFL hoping for no (usually BS) flags.

Clearly the NFL doesn't actually care about it. Can anyone explain how a guy like Jerome Boger is still employed? He is the worst official I've seen at any level of any sport.

Yes, on #6 they rolled the safety in the 2nd half at times. First half, every pass should have been to Adams. He drew a flag or caught it every time. Bizarre to see KC defense not double him in the first half and bizarre to see Oakland lose track of Kelce on his TDs.

One last thing, what did Pacheco do (or not do) that put him in the dog house? It seems like he had one carry and then didn't see the field again.

Close game against a division rival. I think it was a simple case of playing it safe vs. throwing the rook out there.

O.city 10-11-2022 08:33 AM

For as much flaws as he has, CEH is a good pass blocker which was needed. I'd guess thats what the deal with Pacheco was.

O.city 10-11-2022 08:34 AM

And I ****ing love the head butt. It's about time this rivalry had some juice back in it.

I wish one of them woudl have took their helmet off and swung it at the other one.

No you dont. If it was Mahomes he'd be suspended. Not good. If it was Maxx, Mahomes might be dead. Not good.
