That is insane, man. Seriously. You should be journaling all this shit... you could seriously have a self-help/inspirational/motivational book on your hands.

I am absolutely, positively considering it. I am well articulated, and capable of writing and public speaking. I wish I'd documented the first 100lbs in pictures, but I didn't. This year though I'm taking a picture every single month of the year, and they're all on my facebook page. The good news is, I have witnesses in my doctor and nutritionist I started out with on what I weighed and what I did in the beginning.

I'm pretty active in the online community with obese people and try to motivate them to believe in themselves. I take it very, very seriously.

There's a lot of documentation in the original weight loss thread from 2008. That was the very beginning of all of it. Insight into what I was thinking before, initially, and well after I started this whole thing.

Struggled with a weak moment tonight. Went into work late to get some prep done for the weekend, got a burger craving. This is not unusual for me, if I could live on burgers and pizza, I would. After work I drove home and then walked a few miles. Burger craving the whole time. Got home, thought about what to do, finally drove out to HyVee, picked up a couple pounds of 98% fat free turkey (buy one get one free...) and some whole wheat buns. About to eat my day's salad (7 days in a row!), and if I'm still wanting a burger after that, I can make one. So weak moment defeated. No trip to McDonald's, no trip to Wendy's. And thanks to the sale price I can store a pound in the freezer for similar situations in the future.

Otherwise, eating was fine today, eggs, a banana, grapes.

Well, caloric deficit of over 4000 today. Which cancels out yesterday almost to the calorie. Fasting is not a bad thing, not in my estimation. Had I been diligent yesterday as well, I would be looking at a 2lb net loss and I didn't even go to the gym yesterday. The trick will be how this translates next week when I'm working in a stressful job all day every day.

Christ, Flop. I'm worried you're going to end up a bag of saggy skin at the rate you're going.
