Because it's illegal? Regardless of your personal feelings on the subject, the legality of the two is a notable difference, and could very reasonably be an issue someone doesn't want to deal with.

If someone doesn't want to date someone who smokes weed, or drinks, or whatever else, what does it matter? Everyone has their criteria for dating...

What I'm trying to say is if weed is considered a drug because it has harmful effects as it's naturally grown then you can say things like nuts can be drugs..I say that because both have effects that cause chemical reactions in your body that change how your brain and body operate..so I don't see how people lump weed in as a horrible drug but never say anything about drinking

He never said it was because it was illegal so that has nothing to do with it..I was curious why it was a deal breaker and why people think it's so bad whenever the affects of it are no worse than drinking..most of the time damn near all the time it's effects are milder when taken in moderation

Okay, so it's not so much the marijuana as it is the image of smoking.

It's everything. The image, the way her eyes look, her body language, the potential for her behavior to change. Just nothing positive about it.

It's annoying to me that Alcohol is glorified and Marijuana is vilified.
