:spock:

Really? Solid? Practical?

All we've heard from your side is LB's arent worth a high pick and some evaluation of past draft history. Oh ya, and a fair amount of name calling.

Meanwhile the accounts of Curry's worth have typically shown quite a bit of info about the player Curry is and his worth in THIS draft.

Um, Kettle...your black.

ROFL

Draft history is irrelevant. ROFL

PhilFree:arrow:

Probably gonna have to be a LT.

I'd definitely take Curry before displacing Albert. Why not get a good RT in the 3rd or 4th, I'm sure we can find one in the next couple years. We couldn't use that 3rd or 4th on Curry, though.

I'm thinking next year. Seriously too! Take a look at the top pass rushers available next draft.

That is, of course, hinging upon we don't make a run in the payoffs this season!

By the rules I'd agree. So under those circumstances and the fact that we have a young LT do you stick to the rules? Or do you "hold your nose" and take Curry?

I think we'll be much improved and won't have a good shot at the top couple guys. If it's deep with top talent, that'd be great. I wouldn't rule out finding a quality guy in the around the end of the first this year either, though.

While I agree we should be much improved, I'm not sure how that is going to fare out on the wins column. Brutal schedule outside the AFC West teams.

The argument I've gathered is because he wasnt asked to rush the passer much in college, and 3-4 OLB rushes more he cant possibly be expected to be an OLB. So, to some that argument says he can only be MLB.

Much improved could end up equating to a 5-11 record with this schedule.

Oh no we need to go 2-14 again so we can have another top 5 pick to build our championship team through the draft. I mean it's working so well.

True, but with Cassel I believe if we can get this defense to average and shore up RT(center would help too, but may not be essential) we could seriously compete with SD for the top of the AFC. I mean damn, how many wins did it take last year?

True. I'll wait til after the draft to make a prediction. I have a feeling I'll be taking the over for season wins, though. I think we'll be better than people expect.

And I agree with that as well. Whoever takes the in-division games could be in the drivers seat to win the West, since all of our schedules are virtually the same. A Wild Card spot comming out of the West I am not seeing at this time.

Three runner-ups in the West could have a pretty high pick again. Top 15 types much like this year.
