Funny thing is, I was talking to a friend today about how people root for conferences, and I just don't get it. See it with SEC fans and a good many Big 12 fans locally. But I don't give a flying **** if the Big 10 is any good or not. I only root for Michigan. Iowa losing today? Shrug. Ohio State blowing that game to Toledo would've made my year.

That's basically how it is for me. I don't root for the rest of the conference. I don't take any pride in another Big 10 team doing anything. Most of the schools get apathy at the best (Iowa, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue), but some of them I wouldn't piss on if they were burning (Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State, and now Nebraska). I hated seeing Ohio State winning a championship.

On an unrelated note, I got a bad feeling about the game tomorrow. Good things don't usually happen for me twice in a weekend.

,
SEC fans do this the most, Big10 fans rarely do it, Big8,12,11,10 fans do it some but not as much as the SEC. Somtimes h8n is good!

Btw, has Lou Holtz gotten worse? I know it doesn't seem possible, but sure as hell sounds like it. I hated listening to him before, but now he has me contemplating suicide.

It's cool the rest of the conference shits on your team.

For about the last 5 years I have pulled for all of the Big Ten teams during bowl season, not just OSU. I think this is a natural reaction to what the "SEC" chanting fans and ESPN have created. However, after our off season of hell I've learned that nobody likes one of the teams at the top, especially those in your own conference. The OSU boards I frequent have been flooded with trolls from other teams within the Big Ten. As a result, I'm slowly going back in the other direction.

Denard Robinson completed 11 passes yesterday for 338 yards and 4 TDs. 31 yards per completion, and 37% of his completions were TDs. Amazing.

I saw an interesting prop bet on Sportsbook last night that set the o/u on his completions at 15. 100% of the betters took the over. I was dying to take the under but didn't. (Did take Michigan plus the points.)

Did you not see the game last night. Guy is an awful QB, threw many passes up for grabs and was very lucky his WR's made some plays. He is an electrifying college player, but he's not a great QB.
