I happened to be in Wichita for the Easter holiday and after poking around on the Shockernet.net we noticed some of the posters talking about greeting the team at the airport or at the Chuck. We decided to take a chance and drive over to WSU at 3am Sunday morning. After about an hour wait with about 50 other fans, the team showed up. We cheer'd them as they come off the bus. Coach lead everyone in the "You don't want to go to war with the Shockers" chant. They allowed people to take pictures with the trophy and take pictures with the team. Most of the guys waved, grabbed their gear and headed to their cars. I was able to get a picture with Carl Hall and my son got a picture with Coach and one with Carl. I shook Coaches hand as he got off the bus.

What an incredible ride. Loving my Shockers. I'll post pictures soon.

I introduced Coach M to his suit guy. Said he dug my threads when I met him during his first meet and greet. Now, when I come home I see his image all over the place pimping the store and I never got a finders fee.

Yup I was at the arena as well to greet the team, was a amazing experience!!!!

Anyone here going to the FF? Flying the family down Friday night.

I think I almost passed out on the way home.. but that was fun. Although it was pretty hard getting up at 9:45 Sunday morning, but it's not like we've made a Final Four in a while..

Also I'll be going down to Atlanta Thursday night with 7 other people in a van. Have a lot of work to do for school before I leave but this is gonna be one fun trip. Almost surreal, being able to be at the Final Four with these other big time schools and big time fans, proudly wearing my Wichita State stuff.

Yeah I made it to mass and through the family get together, plus a 3 hour ride home. It's taken me two days to get caught up on sleep. Worth.Every.Minute.
