You asked who was better coming out of college. First off, that can't be answered because Smith hasn't played in the NFL yet but I think it's safe to say that many of those players, especially Brady, were missed by scouts.

You are being both obtuse and hypocritical.

He's asking how Geno stacks up as prospect against how those guys stacked. Up when they were just prospects.

It's not that ****ing hard.

Chill out Dane, that's what he meant.

As a prospect, Geno is superior to guys who are 6 feet tall, and superior to almost every guy who only had one year of decent production...like Tannehill.

In YOUR opinion.

BossChief 02-20-2013 01:59 PM

FFS

I asked about them (ill put it caps, again...pay attention) AS THEY WERE COMING OUT OF COLLEGE. What the **** does that have to do with how they played as pros and how would it require ANY hindsight?

Well **** me.

I guess that fact that scouts missed on Brady, Kaepernick, Wilson, Warner, etc. and so on means that Geno Smith will be the greatest ****ing QB of all time.

Yay.

Shit, Bucky Brooks AND Pat Kirwan said he was going #1 this week.

And AS they were coming out of college, teams and scouts missed on Brady, Montana, Kaepernick, so on and so forth.

It doesn't mean that those guys WEREN'T ready to lead a team to a championship game or the Super Bowl, it was that scouts and GM's weren't AWARE they were ready. They were misses.

And furthermore, if you're going to ask this question, maybe you should do it in a Private Message, you know, since only people that have "watched film" should respond.

LMAO

You guys are acting like ****ing tools.

Again, who cares?

What did the Chiefs GM say in the past week about the QB prospects?

And both of those guys do know their shit. I really like Kirwan.

Ultimately I think it's pretty idiotic to jump anyone's shit for where they stand on this right now (except for Kiper, who says there will be no first round QBs and is therefore a reerun).

It's clear that there's a massive split of opinion on this issue.

BossChief 02-20-2013 02:03 PM

I need to get Sirius again, I miss listening to Kirwan in the truck.

With all due respect, Kirwan's ****ing moron. When he ran the personnel department for the Jets, they were ****ing awful (The Kotite years and more).

The guy couldn't get a job in the NFL if he worked for free.

No, it doesn't mean anything more than scouts make poor assesments all the ****ing time.

But you go ahead and keep posting other's opinions.

It makes look like ****in genius.

Well, certainly not YOU, Dane.

JFC.

Mention even the mere possibility of Geno Smith and you go off like Adolf.

How am I posting other people's opinions?

Hell, from what I've read here, you and your posse have it all figured out:

It's just a matter of time before Andy Reid and John Dorsey are in full agreement.

So, were you a tool when you were slurping Sanchez while every draftnik questioned him?
