So I guess the new narrative will be that it's not that Self's recruiting one-and-dones, it's that he got the wrong ones.

Lucas shouldn't be in the starting rotation. Greene may not be a significant contributor.

Graham stepped up in the tourney, so I'm not sure why you'd include him. Svi, and the other recruits are the big question marks. I doubt Selden will be any different than he was this year.

The recruits will have height and length.

Prison Bitch 04-07-2015 07:15 AM

Sorry but you're getting a heaping spoonful of Lucas and Jamari "junkyard dog" and Selden next year.

They will eke out #12 (hooray!!!) by winning a ton of 70-60 games and sweeping their home slate. they'll then be bounced round 2 by a real coach who runs a real offense, 65-60. Selden will finish 1-7. But the Junkyard Dog was able to stop a few stick backs and he played with a lot of energy. And the tourneys a crapshoot anyway.

God I hope Seldon learns to finish at the rim.

Justise Winslow was rated very similar to Selden just a year later. He's what Selden needs to aspire to be.

Yep. I had a bad feeling that day when I knew we were out on them.

At the end of the day Coach K's 4 stars (ALL FRESHMEN) took down Wisconsin's "juniors and seniors". Don't expect Self to be changing his recruiting methods anytime soon.

Rusty will be excited to know that tISU is ranked ahead of KU in the super, mega early 2015-2016 rankings on ESPN.

I wonder when they plan on hanging a banner.

Shouldn't be an issue...their rafters have plenty of room

Cliff officially gone. With him gone, I could see the class being Bragg, Thorne, Jr., Ingram (or Brown) and Diallo. Word now is this is what Diallo was waiting on, KU will be the choice. And KU will add either Brown or Ingram, they'll definitely get one of those wings. If the class is as listed above I expect KU to be as high as 3 in the preseason top 25 IF that class happens. Would be a deep team.

I'm not getting my hopes up.

He was a big source of stress for Self this year and a major burden has been relieved from the program by him leaving.

I've never been so wrong about a recruit. He was nails in the HS exhibitions. Can't believe how shitty he was (both on and off the court)

Reerun_KC 04-07-2015 04:13 PM

Momma gots paid, cliff needs to sign a contract to pay mommas debt.

Chiefs Pantalones 04-07-2015 04:19 PM

@RecruitHawk: Hearing a lot of noise about Perry leaving for NBA as well. He's projected as 2nd rd pick but can't really increase stock by returning.
