Your irrational hatred and assumption that we have ZERO LEGITIMATE CANDIDATES for the starting RG spot doesn't affect that we've basically got two real OTs, one guy who was a position transfer, and a cripple.

We need a legitimate swing tackle to either play behind Donald Stephenson or play in front of Stephenson and let him be the swing tackle (who did a pretty good job of it in 2013)

Who would you bring in at OT?

You are one ****ing dense mother****er.

You never had one inkling of my argument.

I don't have an irrational hatred of any of the the candidates at OG, nor did I ever say that there were zero legitimate candidates.

My only argument was that the assumption that the line WOULD be better lacked any supporting evidence.

The chance that this line would not be better were about equal to the chance that they would.

Until these guys step up and actually play to the level of their potential, the line remains a question mark.

The fact is, they do have potential, and I have no interest in Mathis either because of that.

I also have no interest in OT because there is potential there also.

But you keep being a dense mother****er.

That's a fair point. There are no aged veterans who would be that solid stop gap for fairly cheap like Mathis could be (even though he's pretty damn ****ing old).

Not saying I want him, but I'm honestly SHOCKED that Dorsey hasn't offered Marshall Newhouse a job yet. He's brought aboard all these other former Packer rejects. Why not bring aboard a guy who was actually GOOD for a season or two?

Enough about PFF. That sh*t is so subjective. I'm guilty of trying to justify things with it in the past but it's so ignorant.

Countless NFL coaches have came out an discredited what they do. It's easy to see they're both game changers, just as it's easy to see Mike McGlynn is a game changer in a negative way, but anyone can look at last season and see Houston > Miller.

We've been over this before.

Dorsey drafted two guards in 2014. He drafted one this year. He signed a vet with starting experience from another team. And he's got a dude who's been here since 2012.

ALL OF THOSE GUYS are competing at the same RG spot. Not both spots. Just one. You pounded the table early in the offseason for competition at the offensive line.

Well there it ****ing is. And all you have to say for yourself is, "There's no guarantee that we'll be better at that position" even though the guy who manned it all of last season was a 6th round rookie and is back in the same competition group.

So how can it get ****ing worse? THE SAME ASSHOLE WHO PLAYED LAST YEAR IS BACK.

Discuss Thrower 07-15-2015 05:38 PM

The line can get worse if whoever plays center turns out to suck flaming ass.

KCTitus 07-15-2015 05:47 PM

Im glad they signed Houston...he deserves the pay day. I just hope the production continues and would love to see him break the sack record for a season. He can do it, even after signing this deal.

Yeah, you've only been saying it all ****ing offseason.

How old are you again? You should probably get checked for Alzheimer's.

Anyong Bluth 07-15-2015 06:00 PM

Best part is Denver fans are pissed because it up the price Von will want and the Donkeys may not be able to afford it without some painful cuts to other players.
