Yes, I said it. How many traded backup experiments have we seen across the league over the years? How many of them worked out BETTER than what Alex Smith has given us?
Let that not be a statement in praise of Alex Smith. Let that be a statement against backup QBs who get traded.
Yes, ALL of them. I don't care what the **** you see on tape. Dorsey had a ****ing chance to draft Garrapolo and ****ing passed. And now that he looked good on tape for 2 games with New England that's all of a sudden an acceptable solution for his QB problems?

I'll bet every ****ing dollar I've got that Garrapolo is not the answer. For ANY team, except the outside possibility of New England should he stick around that team long enough to witness Tom Brady retiring and get handed the reins.
